Here at Piqué the student is at the centre of everything we do. We focus on quality of teaching and place value in the learning process, fostering lifelong healthy habits and attitudes to develop confident, secure performers who enjoy their dance journey through to adulthood. Each dancer is unique and deserves an individual approach built on care, understanding and mutual respect to truly grow and thrive. Everyone’s path will look different and all students deserve to be guided along the best one for them.
Piqué School of Performing Arts was born in 2015 out of a desire to share both the joys that dance and theatre bring to people of all ages as well as the health benefits and wider life skills that are encompassed in regular participation. Students can study for examinations and assessments with The Royal Ballet School Affiliate Training and Assessment Programme, Royal Academy of Dance and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) or choose to dance just for fun. The school provides regular performance opportunities both internally and in the community including a yearly summer musical and a biannual whole school show in a professional theatre.
